🍫 Chocolate School for Kids & Teens – Private Workshop Experience
A small-group chocolate adventure into the world’s most fascinating rainforest ecosystem.
Over the years, Chocolate School for Kids & Teens has taken students on unforgettable chocolate journeys—from the jungles of South America and the islands of the Caribbean, to the nations of West Africa, and even to Hawaii, the only U.S. state where cacao can be grown.
Each workshop blends hands-on chocolate making, interactive storytelling, and real-world science discovery into one unforgettable experience.
🌿 2026 Theme: Chocolate Secrets of the Amazon
This year, Chocolate School for Kids & Teens invites your children and teenagers into the Amazon Rainforest Chocolate Biosphere—where they will discover the extraordinary ecosystem where cacao trees grow.
Students will learn where chocolate truly begins: not in a factory, but in a living rainforest filled with animals, plants, and natural systems working together in balance.
🍫 What Your Child or Teen Will Experience
Each private workshop includes three core experiences:
📚 1. The Chocolate Class Session (Story + Discovery)
Students begin with an interactive, story-driven classroom experience that brings the Amazon rainforest to life.
They will explore:
- 🌳 How cacao trees grow in the shaded layers of the Amazon rainforest
- 🐝 How insects and pollinators help cacao flowers become chocolate pods
- 🐸 How frogs act as “ecosystem guardians,” keeping insect populations in balance
- 🐜 How ants, beetles, and rainforest insects shape the health of the cacao environment
- 🐍 How predators like snakes help maintain ecological balance in the rainforest floor
- 🌧️ Why the Amazon’s climate is essential for chocolate to exist at all
Students will also complete an interactive Amazon Chocolate Map activity, helping them visually understand the rainforest ecosystem behind every piece of chocolate.
This is not a lecture—it’s a guided journey into the living world that makes chocolate possible.
🍫 2. The Chocolate Workshop Session (Hands-On Creation)
In this hands-on workshop, every student becomes a “Rainforest Chocolatier.”
Students will create and take home Amazon-inspired chocolate treats, including:
- 🍫 Amazon Jungle Bark – layered chocolate inspired by rainforest textures
- 🐸 Chocolate Frog Pops – modeled after rainforest amphibians
- 🦋 Rainforest Butterfly Cookies – decorated like Amazon species such as the Blue Morpho
All activities are designed to be:
✔ Easy for kids and teens to succeed
✔ Hands-on and highly engaging
✔ Connected directly to rainforest science and geography
🌿 3. The Amazon Chocolate Finale Experience
To complete the workshop, students participate in a celebratory wrap-up that brings the rainforest theme full circle.
They will:
- 🎁 Package their handmade chocolate creations
- 🛍️ Place them in a themed take-home bag
- 📸 Join a group “Amazon Adventure” photo
- 🌿 Celebrate the ecosystem they just explored through chocolate
This final moment turns learning into memory—and memory into excitement.
